Beecher Law Firm

Eric is a partner at Beecher, Field, Walker, Morris, Hoffman &  Johnson, P.C., which has been a mainstay in Waterloo for over 100 years.  Its history parallels that of the city’s largest employer, Deere & Co., and its influence on the community has been just as profound and, arguably, even more diverse in terms of breadth of community projects and service.

The firm was originally established in 1918 by William L. Beecher and E.H. McCoy.  At the time of its formation, it was known as Beecher & McCoy.  In 1947, W. Louis Beecher joined the firm, and the name was then changed to Beecher & Beecher.  The firm has produced one Iowa Supreme Court judge, Bruce Snell, and numerous other judges in various state and municipal courts.

While the firm has grown in size over the past decades, it remains committed to the legacy begun by its founders.
